a competition in composition for under 26s. He presented his
oratorio The Dawn at the Battlefield which was performed on 13 Nov at the concert of the winners of the

Philharmonia. Alexanderander was very impressed by Alexander's String Quartet and promised to premier it this coming season in
St. Petersburg and later Moscow Conservatoir. |
3 July: Alexander composed a piece for Ensemble of
Gusli - Russian Folk Instrument. His piece "Dawn at the
Battlefield" , dedicated to the anniversary of the battle between Tartars and Russians in
the 14th century, will be performed in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour on 5th October. |
4 July: Alexander met with Alexanderander Titel who
is an artistic director of Stanislavsky Music Theatre. There are a lot of plans for future
collaboration of Alexander with the Theatre which is named after its founder ,

5 July: Alexander was invited to one of the most popular radio
programmes Arsenal, Russia, for an hour program about him and his music.
Songs from his new forthcoming album "Just a boy " were played as well as
the 2nd movement from his Concerto for Horn and Orchestra. |

tried to play mandolin.
He has now got his own mandolin and has quickly learned to play his favourite songs. |

Alexander learned how to play Tam-tam. |

instrument and writes a lot of music for it. He
included a part for Wagner tuba in his
concerto for horn and orchestra. |

26 Dec - 3 January 2005: After the concert in Tchaikovskiy Hall, Alex
used the fees from his performances to fly out from Moscow with four kids from Serpuhov orphanage whom he invited for 8 days to England to see the Christmas Festivities.
It was very exciting for the kids - it was first time they flew on an airplane, first time abroad , some of them
had never been anywhere except Serpuhov, ( a small town 100 km south of
Moscow) |
Stanislavskiy Opera and Ballet Theatre invited the kids to their performance of Nutcracker in
the Royal Festival Hall. it was so exciting to meet the dancers in a break and see the magic world of theatre. The youngest boy Alexiy
(in the middle) watched the show with an open mouth.
It was first time in their lives the kids had watched the ballet production. |
Alex and his Dad cooked Christmas dinner for
the kids. Christmas day was held on the 27th,
as Alex performed in Moscow on the 25th.
During the week the kids went on a sight seeing
London Tour, went horse riding, cycling, rowing,
swimming, had driving lessons, bowling, went to
the British Museum, Tower of London, Madame
Tussaud's, visited Windsor Castle, & went to see
Nutcracker - they had so much fun! |

Tallinn, in Philharmonic Hall Estonia, with Terem Quartet. The
audience gave a standing ovation and continued to stand during two
encores which Alex sang for them.

Alex has a few young admirers who
gave him not only flowers but even some presents. This little
girl gave him a carved wooden bird, another, Elizabeth, gave him
a beautiful lacquer box. Thank you to all of you!

he has a unique voice - very low alto. He gave Alex his book and many CDs.
Alex hopes that he will soon take part in a concert with this Foundation.

16 April: Alex visited an orphanage in a small Russian Town, Serpuhov, where 80 children aged 4
to 18 live. Alex brought a lot of presents for the kids and also sang for them.
Alex is now raising a big campaign in UK to help these children. Russian Language newspaper London Info and also Windsor and Maidenhead Observer , Maidenhead Advertiser are helping with publicity of this action. |

Alex visited the grave of his great great grandfather - Constantine Stanislavsky,
the great reformer of the theatre and the founder of the Moscow Arts Theatre.
Alex's great grandfather and grandfather are also buried nearby. He also
visited the house where his great great grandfather lived for the last 18
years of his life. This is where Constantine worked on his opera productions.
90 Years old Stepan Balashov is the nephew of Constantine and was very pleased
to finally meet Alex. |

government concert hall. More than 20 outstanding new Russian musicians

Alex met with Count Andrei Tolstoy-Miloslavsky and Julian Gallant,conductor
of the Russian Chamber orchestra and with Olga Balacleetz, Director of Ensemble
Productions. |
May 2 - Alex was singing in a concert with Kent Sinfonia, conducted
by Robert Turrell, in Canterbury, St Peter’s Church.

Group after singing at a London Knights game at the London Arena. He was
cheered by 4,000 people. |

January 20 2003
Alex is not only a singer, he plays the piano, he composes music for the
piano, he also plays the French Horn. He is studying composition, the piano
and the French Horn in the Royal College of Music. On January 11 2003 Alex
sang at a charity New Year Ball - the Spirit of Russian in Cafe Royal, London.
He was the only child singer among the soloists of Bolshoi and Stockholm
Theatre. He stole the show!

On 26 January 2003 Alex came 2nd in Junior National Singing Grand
Final in UK.
1st place was won by 15 year old Morrisa Biletieri. It was not easy for
Alex to compete as he was the only classical singer among the pop singers.
Alex sang Granada – music by Lara, and Russian folk song Along the Peterskaya
Rd. He was called by the jury `The best singing boy in UK`.

First victory

Alex came 1st in a competition in Christ Church and was immediately invited
to perform in a professional cabaret. He has won competitions in Weston
super-Mare, Reading, Maidenhead, Richmond and London. Alex sang in a concert
Rising Stars, European Stars and on a Gala- dinner for Royal Jeweler Theo
Faberge.

July 2002
In June 2002 Alex came 2nd in Wolverhampton in a Wannabe a Tot Star Competition.
It was his 1st competition.
